Call for entries: Poetry and stamp art
I recently heard about an interesting mail art project. The theme: send original poetry in your native language with stamp art. Deadline: October 20, 2008. The entries are being posted on the M-A Group blog.
A new look: on March 29, I finished recoding my entire website. In addition to installing a new logo and color scheme, I redid a number of my older images and MIDI files. I also started a news feed so that I can post about what's new and exciting!

I was born in Oakland, California, in 1949, and grew up in the nearby towns of Richmond and Concord. In 1978, I married Andrew Alden (who is a freelance technical editor and the Geology Guide at about.com).
Eleven years later, we moved back to Oakland, where we share an upstairs flat in a duplex with our cat, Joey.
I work as a web designer and HTML scripter at the University of California, Berkeley.
